Going to the beach

On Saturday afternoon I went to Paihia  beach. First we got ready to  go to the beach. My family and I  had a swim at the beach. Me and my brother had a sand fight and both of us laughed at each other.  Then it was time to go. When we got home we had dinner.

It was yummy. Then I went to bed.

Recount writing at the birthday

 

On Saturday it was my cousin's birthday. My family and I went to the park because that’s where my cousin was having his birthday. When we first got there we played in the park. I played on the monkey bars. It was fun.

Next we had ice cream and cake. It was a chocolate fudge cake. That is my favourite.  It was so yummy.

Next we ate sausages and chicken. They were delicious.

Next we went home.

The birthday at the park was amazing.
